Be part of the fun as Lakewood Vineyards savors two decades of evolution at their 20th Anniversary Kick-Off dinner on Saturday, March 7th. Come celebrate with the Stamp Family and Lakewood Vineyards’ staff as they raid the wine library to share samples of history dating back to their maiden vintage of 1988. Tour the 9000 square foot expansion while grazing on wine friendly food prepared by Carol Bower Catering. Taste local cheeses and dance to live music. Enjoy a preview of tank samples from the 2008 vintage. And just for nostalgia’s sake there will be some older library wines on sale at their original prices! (All library wine sales go to the Monty Stamp Memorial Scholarship Fund.)But wait, there’s more. Make your plans early, as a limited number of engraved commemorative 20th Anniversary wine glasses will be given out to those signing up first. And just for the fun of it, all guests of legal age will receive a chance at a jeroboam of silky smooth 2007 Pinot Noir.Festivities will begin at 7 pm at Lakewood Vineyards, 4024 State Route 14, Watkins Glen, New York.
