The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Kevin M. Murph, age 24, formerly from Brooklyn on January 21st, 2009 at about 10:10am. Murph was picked up at the Gowanda Correctional Facility in Collins, NY by SFPD after being released from prison on an arrest warrant issued by the former Hon. R. E. MacConnell of the Seneca Falls Town Court. His charges stem from a traffic stop on March 27th, 2003 where he provided officers with multiple false names during the course of an investigation. His true identity was determined and at the time was wanted by the NYS Division for Parole. Murph was charged locally with Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd, 5 Counts of False Personation and additional traffic tickets. Murph was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court by the Hon. Joyce Mahoney and committed to the Seneca Co. Corr. Facility in lieu of $1000 cash/$2000 bond and is to reappear on January 28th, 2009.
