Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident on State Route 414 at the New York State Thruway Entrance. Deputies report a tractor trailer driven by Clio L. Scultz, age 58, of 2390 Hoyt Road Penn Yan, NY, attempted to turn into the Thruway Entrance. A southbound vehicle, driven by Jeremiah M. Smith, age 51, of 860 State Route 414 Waterloo, NY stuck the tractor trailer. Smith was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance and was transported to Geneva General Hospital with neck and arm pain. Scultz was uninjured. Scultz was ticketed for failure to yield right of way at an intersection. Magee Fire Department and New York State Police also assisted at the scene.
