ESPN News is currently reporting (11:56 am) that suspended Syracuse University basketball player Eric Devendorf has been reinstated by the university making him eligible to play in Tuesday night’s Big East Conference opener against Seton Hall.Devendorf was previously on probation when he was accused of striking a female student in the early hours of November 1st. A student judicial board suspended Devendorf from school indefinately, a ruling that was overturned a week later by the university appeal’s board. Devendorf was to complete 40 hours of community service before re-applying to Syracuse University to enroll again for the spring semester.
