Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, Deputies responded to a tractor trailer rollover accident at the intersection of Halls Corners Road and Arden Road in the Town of Covert. A tractor trailer being operated by Kurt E. Ziefle, 52, of 4083 County Road 143 Apt. 1 in Interlaken, was attempting to make a left turn onto Arden Road from Halls Corners Road. While making the turn, the trailer rolled over into the ditch striking a telephone pole. Ziefle was uninjured in the collision, but was checked over at the scene by Trumansburg Ambulance. The Interlaken Fire Department also responded to the scene. Ziefle was ticketed for Improper Left Turn. The tractor trailer suffered minor damage and was driven from the scene.
