Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Route 96 in the Town of Romulus. A vehicle being operated by Kymbra M. Kay, 31, of 5854 Route 96 Apt. 229A in Romulus, was northbound on Route 96 and lost control due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle entered the ditch and Kay was able to drive out. A passenger in the vehicle, Eliu Chavarria, 39, of 5854 Route 96 Apt. 229A in Romulus, suffered a minor head injury and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by South Seneca Ambulance. Chavarria was issued a ticket for not wearing his seat belt. The Romulus Fire Department also responded to the scene. The vehicle suffered minor damage.
