Seneca Sheriff Deputies investigated an accidental death that occurred at 885 Yale Farm Road, Romulus, in the Town of Varick on Thursday.Deputies state that Levi H Karlsen age 23 of the same address , was in a garage/ workshop , working on a full size Chevrolet pick up truck, when the jacks appearently slipped , trapping Karlsen underneath. He was found by his father Karl Karlsen age 48 , who jacked the vehicle back up and extricated his son, who was treated at the scene by Varick Rescue and South Seneca Ambulance, who transported Karlsen to Geneva General Hospital , where he was pronounced dead upon arrival . Deputies report that the cause of death was massive trauma to the chest due to a crush injury.
