TCAT Provides Service To/From Schuyler Co.

Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc. (TCAT, Inc) announces that startingJanuary 5, 2009 it will provide two trips in the morning and two trips inthe afternoon to and from Schuyler County. The fare structure for the new TCAT Schuyler County service is as follows:Cash Fare – $3.00, 10-Ride Pass – $30.00, Monthly Pass – $90.00. Thesefares will also be the same for the other out-of-county service TCATcurrently provides to Tioga County. The new TCAT Schuyler County route will provide service to Odessa, MontourFalls, Watkins Glen, Burdett, Mecklenburg and Enfield. The first trip isexpected to arrive at Cornell before 7:30AM and the second trip is scheduledto arrive at Cornell just before 8:00AM. In the evening TCAT will departfrom the Vet School at 3:30PM and 4:40PM traveling through Central CornellCampus, downtown and proceeding on route to Schuyler County. The specific route and timing should be complete in the next couple ofweeks. As soon as it is finalized TCAT will publish a route schedule andpost in the information on the website.
