Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Sterling R. Peters, age 44, of 2500 Edwards Road Waterloo for Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, a felony, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. The charges stem from an incident at 2294 Edwards Road in the Town of Waterloo where Peters was involved in a physical altercation with a subject he had a order of protection with. Susan Y. Hilkert, age 47, of 2500 Edwards Road Waterloo also was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree. Peters and Hilkert were arraigned before the Seneca Falls Town Court. Peters was committed to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail $20,000 bond and is to reappear before the court on November 21,2008. Hilkert was also committed to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $500 bail $1000 bond and is to reappear before the Town of Waterloo Court on November 23rd, 2008 for further action.
