Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, Deputies responded to a fire at 4685 McGrane Rd Romulus NY 14541. Deputies report a grain bin used for drying corn suffered extensive damage after catching fire approx 02:12am.The grain bin is owned by Kevin L. Swartley, age 50 of the same address. The Fayette Fire Dept assisted by Waterloo,Ovid,Seneca Falls and Varick Fire Departments responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire.No injuries reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
