WCHS Haunted Jail this weekend

The best Haunted Jail this weekend is a real haunted jail! The Museum of Wayne County History has the exclusive rights to the only really haunted jail in Wayne County open to the public. Come and let the spirits scare the wits out of you this weekend, just remember to bring someone along, to hold their hand! The museum’s paranormal activities have been under surveillance for years by the Rolling Hills Paranormal Research Society, Wayne Area Ghost Society, the Rochester Paranormal Society, RNews, and area Psychics. All say they can feel the spirits of criminals who died there, like William Fee, hung to death in the north side cell in 1860. Visitors can enter at their own risk and walk through the Haunted Jail, at night… Just try not to run! “Last year I went through with my husband, and even though I had helped set it up, I couldn’t help myself… I was digging my nails into his arm!” Executive Director, Larry Ann Evans. The Haunted Jail runs Friday the 24 and Saturday the 25 from 6pm – 9pm. Cost is $3 per person. For more information about any of this event, call the Museum of Wayne County History, 21 Butternut St., Lyons, NY at 315-946-4943 or check out the website, www.waynehistory.org
