Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on 09-25-08 Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Norman P. Echols age 40, of 1218 W. River Rd Waterloo, NY. Echols turned himself in to law enforcement on 09-25-08 following a domestic incident in the Town of Fayette that had occurred at 8:54 pm on 09-24-08 in which he alledgedly choked and struck a female in the face while in the presence of two children under the age of 17. Echols was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment and then brought before Fayette Town Courts Justice Dean for an arraignment. During the arraignment, Echols was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail in the amount of $2000 cash/$4000 bond and a Class A order of protection was issued on behalf of the victims. Echols was scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Fayette Court on November 5th 2008 at 7:00 pm to answer the charges. On September 29th 2008, Echols was issued an appearance ticket charging him with one count of Assault in the 3rd degree stemming from the same incident, Echols is scheduled to answer this charge on November 5th 2008 in conjunction with the others.
