Are you registered to vote on Election Day, November 4, 2008? Do you want to have a say on who becomes President, US Congress representative, NYS Assembly and Senate, along with any town positions?The Schuyler County League of Women Voters will be hosting voter registration drives for any Schuyler County citizen who is not registered to vote. League members will help you get registered, provide absentee ballots and familiarize new voters with the voting process.Where: Watkins Glen Walmart, 4th StreetWhen: September 27 and October 4, 2008Time: 11am – 5 pm both datesIn order to register to vote you must be a US citizen, 18 years of age on or before Election Day, and a resident of a town or village in Schuyler County for at least 30 days prior to Election Day. A current NYS driver’s license or the last 4-digits of your social security number will be required. You must be registered no later than October 10, 2008 in order to vote on November 4th.
