Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff Deputies arrested David C. Knapp age 22 of 8353 Main St Interlaken NY 14847 for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, Harassment 2nd and Resisting Arrest. The charges stem from a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Covert where Knapp forced a Town of Covert Female to the ground and refusing to allow her to get up and into her residence. When Sheriff Deputies arrived on scene Knapp had pushed the female in front of two Town of Covert Juveniles. While Sheriff Deputies attempted to place Knapp into custody he proceeded to fight and resist arrest. Knapp was arraigned in the Town of Covert Court and committed to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 bond. Knapp is due to appear in the Town of Covert Court on October 6th 2008 at 3:00pm to answer the charges.
