Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Thomas M Chaffee age 44 of 2230 Rt 96 Ovid NY on a charge of Criminal Contempt in the Second degree. Deputies state that Chaffee made phone calls to an Ovid resident that has an Order of Protection for Chaffee to have no contact with. Chaffee was arraigned in the Town of Ovid Court and committed on $1000 cash or $2000 bail bond and is to appear on Oct 6th in the Town of Ovid Court to answer the charge.
