On September 1, 2008 at approximately 6 a.m. Seneca Falls Police arrested Anthony M. Rivera, age 20 and Jeffrey Alvaro, age 20, both of 39 Seneca Road, Seneca Falls, NY. Rivera is charged with Petit Larceny, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree. Alvaro is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Rivera is accused of taking narcotic medications that were not prescribed to him from a village resident without the resident’s permission and giving some of the narcotic medications to Alvaro. Alvaro is accused of being in possession of the narcotic medications. Rivera was arraigned before Seneca Falls Town Court Justice Joyce Mahoney and committed to Senca County Correctional Facility on $10,000 Cash or $20,000 Bond Bail. He is to re-appear on 09/05/08 at 11:00 a.m. Alvaro was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Courton 09/11/08.
