The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce wants to make sure that all tourism related businesses and attractions in the county are in the 2009 Seneca County Visitors Guide. Businesses, attractions, and other groups that are not currently in the Guide but feel they should be, are encouraged to call the Chamber immediately. If organizations meet the criteria, they will be included in the 2009 Guide and added to Seneca County’s tourism website, www.fingerlakescentral.com.In 2008, 100,000 copies of the Seneca County Guide were printed. The 32-page, full-color Guide is distributed at information centers, travel shows and events across Upstate New York, and mailed to thousands who request information online or through advertising inquiries. Improvements to the 2008 Guide have greatly increased distribution or the resource, which requires that next year’s guide be printed as soon as possible. Categories in the Guide include: heritage attractions and museums, shopping, wineries, family and outdoor activities, hotels and motels, bed & breakfasts, campgrounds, restaurants, major events, and transportation services. Information should be provided to the Seneca County Chamber by Friday, September 19th. Businesses already listed in the Guide are being sent verification forms in the mail. Contact the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce by phone at 315-568-2906 or by email at [email protected]
