Domestic dispute leads to arrest in Ovid

Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ronald S. Woodard, age 37, of 2782 County Road 139 Ovid, NY 14521 for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. The charges stem from an domestic incident in the Town of Ovid where Woodard is alleged to have pushed a female subject down while holding onto a 6 year old child. Woodard was taken into custody and was arraigned before the Town of Covert Court. Woodard was released on his own recognizance and issued a class “A” order of protection. Woodard is to reappear before the Town of Ovid Court on 09/08/08 at 7:00 pm to answer the charges.
