2 injured in Route 89 crash – FingerLakes1.com Archive

Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident that occurred in the area of 3066 State Route 89 in the Town of Fayette. It was discovered that Devina S. Chen age 20 of 8 Joanne Ave Seneca Falls NY 13148 was traveling south on State Route 89 when a vehicle driven by Ashley E. Sheldon age 19 of 1663 Black Brook Rd Seneca Falls NY 13148 pulled into traffic causing Chen to strike Sheldon in the drivers side. Canoga Fire Department responded for aid with the accident and assisted with the Jaws of Life to extract Sheldon from the vehicle. Chen was transported to the Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for a check over after having complaints of chest soreness. Sheldon was also transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital after being removed from the vehicle for complaints of head and neck injuries. Both parties were treated and released at the hospital.On scene was Canoga Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
