Route 31 DWI Leads To Serious Accident – FingerLakes1.com Archive

On July 27th, Seneca County Sheriff’s arrested Michael J. Bruno, age 34, of Waterloo, NY on State Route 31 in the town of Tyre. He was charged with Reckless Driving, DWI and .08 BAC or Higher.Bruno and his passenger Christy Edbert also of 65 Church St Apt A in Waterloo were involved in a motor vehicle accident with Robert A. Sherman and Susan D. Sherman of Montezuma NY. Bruno was heading west on State Route 31 when he lost control of his motor cycle he and Edbert were ejected from the motorcycle, it then collided into an SUV driven by Robert A. Sherman. Bruno was arrested for drving well intoxicated and was later charged with having a BAC of .08 or higher and Reckless Driving. Edbert was taken by Mercy Flight to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for treatment. Robert Sherman was treated at the scene for complaints of pain and Susan Sherman was taken by ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for further evaluation.
