The Schuyler Health Foundation is holding its annual Celebrity Bag-A-Thon at the Watkins Glen P&C Foods on Friday, August 22, 2008, from Noon to 6 p.m. Prominent figures in the Schuyler County community – including politicians and business people – will be bagging groceries all afternoon to benefit Schuyler Hospital. P&C Foods will donate a percentage of their earnings during the Bag-A-Thon to the Hospital’s 2008 Family of Friends Campaign, targeted for new endoscopy equipment.In addition to the Bag-A-Thon, the Hospital will offer free blood pressure screenings and colorectal screening kits. There will also be giveaways and information on cancer prevention and a variety of Hospital services.
