SF sex-offender moves, doesn’t change address

Seneca Falls Police arrested Raymond J. Dumas (aka Raymond J. Durham), age 39 from 904 Waterloo-Geneva Road Lot#2 Waterloo, NY for two E felony counts from the New York State Correction’s Law. Raymond J. Dumas, a level III registered sex offender was arrested for failing to register a change of address with the Seneca Falls Police Department within ten days of moving; and Failing to Verify his Annual Address with the Department of Criminal Justice Services. Raymond J. Dumas last known address was 161 West Bayard Street (Park Place Apartments) Apt#16 Seneca Falls, NY. Seneca Falls Police first started investigating Raymond Dumas on April 28th, 2008 when Raymond J. Dumas originaly moved into the Park Place Apartments. Dumas was advised at this time that he was in violation of the County Law preventing registered level two or three sex offenders from residing within 500 feet from a school or park. On May 2nd, 2008 Mr. Dumas advised the Seneca Falls Police Department that he was moving to 904 Waterloo-Geneva Rd. Lot#2 in Waterloo. On May 23rd, 2008 Seneca Falls Police responded to his last known address and found that the apartment was vacant. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Dumas was arrested by the Geneva Police Department and turned over to the Seneca County Sheriffs Department. The Sheriff’s department then transported Dumas to the Seneca Falls Police Department for processing. Dumas was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney and committed to the S.C.C.F. on no bail. A felony hearing is scheduled for July 30th, 2008 at 2:30 PM.
