New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio is asking the communityto rally behind the Geneva Red Wings baseball team while also contributingto a local community need.Senator Nozzolio is sponsoring a free night of baseball for all thosewishing to attend “Mike Nozzolio Night” at McDonough Park this Friday, July18th. Admittance to the game is free for all.Senator Nozzolio is encouraging all those who attend to also drop-offcanned goods to help stock local food pantries that serve residents inneed.“There is no better way to help our local food pantries replenish muchneeded supplies than with an all-American baseball game,” said SenatorNozzolio. “It is a pleasure for me to sponsor and host a fun,family-oriented evening of baseball and I look forward to joining everyonein cheering the Red Wings to victory.”“Senator Mike Nozzolio Night” will feature the Geneva Red Wings atMcDonough Park on Friday, July 18th. Gates open at 6:30pm and the game isscheduled to begin at 7:30pm when the Red Wings take on the Bolivar A’s.All general admission tickets to the game on Tuesday are free. McDonoughPark is located at the corner of Nursery and Lyceum streets in Geneva.Donations may include non-perishable canned goods, paper products, soap,shampoo, baby food, or diapers and will replenish supplies among local foodpantries.
