It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. The United Way of Seneca County recognizes that the youth in our community play an integral part in creating lasting change. This summer the United Way of Seneca County, through the ACT for Youth grant, will provide internships to nine students from Romulus, Seneca Falls, South Seneca and Waterloo school districts. The objective of the internship is to equip our students with important skills such as event planning, budgeting, marketing and creative thinking. The students will have four weeks to plan a county-wide event that will engage their fellow students in a service project for our community. Youth empowering youth to help their community- that’s what it means to live united.
