On Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 8:15 PM, the Waterloo Village Police Department arrested a 17 year old Waterloo Youth on the charge of Menacing 2nd degree. On June 23, 2008 at about 2:50 P.M. the youth was allegedly driving his vehicle on E. Williams Street near Clark Street. Allegedly when the youth passed by two young boys on their bicycles the youth pointed a handgun out of the vehicles window at the two young boys. The weapon was recovered from the incident and was found to be an air soft pistol. The youth was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on July 9, 2008 to answer the charge.
