Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports Deputies responded to a one-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Yost Road in the Town of Fayette. A vehicle being operated by Imelda M. Saito, 43, of 116 East Main Street in Waterloo, was northbound on Yost Road when she suddenly swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway. Saito’s vehicle left the roadway striking the ditch. Saito suffered a minor head laceration and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance. The Waterloo Fire Department also assisted at the scene. The vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
