Coming up on July 3rd-5th, motorcycle lovers will have the opportunity to be part of the all new Montour Falls Bike Rally, hosted by the Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce/Watkins Glen Promotions.The event kicks off Thursday, July 3rd with a “Track Lap”. This exciting opportunity will give riders the chance to ride their cycles around the track at Watkins Glen International! Anyone who is interested in participating in this FREE event should meet at Buisch’s Bullpen, on Route 14 in Montour Falls at 5:30 p.m., followed by the start of the ride to Watkins Glen International which begins at 6:00 p.m. After the lap, the festivities will continue at Buisch’s Bullpen for “Bike Night,” which will feature entertainment, prizes and specials.On Thursday and Friday, July 4th and 5th, the event schedule will run from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout Main Street in Montour Falls. There will be music and entertainment, vendors, scenic motorcycle rides, bike tours and shows, a motorcycle safety program, and children’s games and activities. Also on the 4th and 5th, will be a “Biker Breakfast” including a biker blessing from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Montour Falls Fire House. Tickets to the Biker Breakfast are $5.00 per person, and children five and under are free. All proceeds from the breakfast will go to future Montour Falls Bike Rally efforts.There is no need to sign up for this event, no need to own a bike, and most importantly this event is free and open to the public!
