Sheriff David Gould reports the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into Wednesday’s motor vehicle accident on Rt. 5 in the Town of Sennett. That accident is now a double fatal motor vehicle accident as the operator of the second vehicle has passed away.Leroy Walker, age 73, of 117 Hatch St. Syracuse, N.Y. died shortly before 11:00 am this morning, Saturday May 24, 2008. Mr. Walker had been listed in critical condition at University Hospital in Syracuse.The investigation is continuing and the Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone who witnessed this accident please contact Detectives at 253-1610.
