Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff Deputies investigated a farm tractor accident on Disinger Road in the Town of Fayette. A farm tractor being operated by 26 YO Roy L. Zimmerman of 3088 Disinger Road was towing another farm tractor being operated by 19 YO Kenneth L. Zimmerman of the same address. The two tractors were being operated in an easterly direction across a field when they both started down a grade. The towed tractor sped up and collided into the rear of the first tractor. The force popped the front end up and over top the rear tires of the first tractor. This pinned 26 YO Zimmerman under the front tires of the rear tractor and against the steering wheel of the powered tractor. Zimmerman was pinned between the two tractors for about 40 minutes before firefighters from Fayette and Red Jacket extracated him. North Seneca Ambulance treated him at the scene and he was then flown to Upstate Medical Center by Mercy Flight where he was checked over and released with no injuries sustained.
