An Ithaca College student who has been missing since early Sunday morning is the subject of a search being conducted by the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety, in conjunction with local law enforcement and emergency services agencies.William Jacobson, a freshman who resides in the Terrace 11 residence hall, was last seen in the City of Ithaca between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 27. At that time he was in the backyard of 105 Grandview Ave., below the Hudson Heights Apartments, and it was believed he was planning to return to his room.Jacobson is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” tall, 165 lbs., with a thin build. He has black wavy hair, and has grown a goatee and mustache since the accompanying photograph was taken. When last seen he was wearing a white long-sleeved dress shirt, navy blue vest, black dress pants, and black dress shoes.Anyone who might have seen Jacobson or who has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety at 607-274-3333 or the Ithaca Police Department at 607-272-3245.
