Women’s Rights National Historical Park capped off Women’sHistory Month with a talk and book signing by professor and author JillNorgren on Saturday March 29th. The event was held at the park’s visitorcenter in Seneca Falls.Norgren’s talk concentrated on Belva Lockwood the pioneering lawyer andsubject of her most recent book, “Belva Lockwood: the Woman Who Would bePresident.” Immediately following the talk a book signing took place inthe park’s visitor center. The talk and book signing was hosted by EasternNational in cooperation with the National Park Service.Norgren is Professor Emeritus of Government at John Jay College of CriminalJustice and the Graduate Center, the City University of New York. She isthe author of several books including; “Cherokee Cases” and “BelvaLockwood: the Woman Who Would be President.”
