Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports Deputies responded to a trailer fire located at 1580 Yellow Tavern Road in the Town of Fayette. The Waterloo Fire Department, Fayette Fire Department, and Border City Fire Department responded to the scene and brought the fire under control. An occupant of the residence, Nicole M. Andrews, 21, complained of smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance. A child, Brooklyn N. Dishaw, 1, was also checked by North Seneca Ambulance as a precaution, but appeared to be fine. The Seneca County Fire Coordinator’s Office and Fire Investigation Team also responded to the scene. The owner of the trailer is David E. Hagadorn, 45, of the same address, and the trailer suffered extensive damage. The cause of the fire is believed to be a malfunction with a water heater and it is unknown whether the trailer is insured.
