Brian William DeWaters, 18, of Canandaigua, was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child. DeWaters, of 5111 Foster Road, picked up a 15-year-old female from her residence and took her to a South Main Street apartment where they spent the night together, according to police. DeWaters has an order of protection barring him from any contact with the juvenile, according to police.
