Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg and Department of Human Services Commissioner Charles Schillaci report the results of recent enforcement action and investigation into welfare fraud. Arrested were:Nancy L Reich, age, 34, of 2105 Water Street, Ovid N.Y. Reich was charged with nine counts of offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Reich filed false documents with the Department of Human Services. She was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail.James P Ennis, age 37, of 370 Wagner Street, Waterloo N.Y. Ennis was charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th degree. It is alleged that Ennis failed to report employment while receiving public benefits. Ennis was arraigned in the Town of Waterloo Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $250 cash $500 bond.Patricia L Forshay, age 46, of 56 W. Elizabeth St. Waterloo N.Y. Forshay was charged with Welfare Fraud 3rd degree. It is alleged that Forshay failed to report an out of state I.R.A. while receiving public benefits. Forshay was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $200 bail.Lilah M Williamson, age 23, of 5854 Rt 96, Apt 226B, Romulus N.Y. Williamson was charged with six counts of offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Williamson filed false documents with the Department of Human Services. Williamson was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $500 bail. Stephanie L Sanderson, age 33, of 125 W. Bayard St, Seneca Falls N.Y. Sanderson was charged with Petit Larceny. It is alleged that Sanderson failed to report income while receiving public benefits. Sanderson was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court, pled guilty and made restitution. She was released by the court.Michael Kent, age 33, of 312 E. William Street, Waterloo, N.Y. Kent was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree. It is alleged that Kent failed to report income while receiving public benefits. Kent was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2500 cash, $5000 bond.Tammy L Sincerbeaux, age 26, of 86 Phelps Street, Lyons, N.Y. Sincerbeaux was charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree. It is alleged that Sincerbeaux failed to report income while receiving public benefits. Sincerbeaux was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2500 cash, $5000 bond.Marshall J Wood Jr., age 35, of 55 W. Bayard St. Apt 16, Seneca Falls, N.Y. Wood was charged with six counts of offering a false instrument for filing. It is alleged that Wood filed false documents with the Department of Human Services. Wood was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court. Wood was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facilty on $1000 cash, $3000 bond.There was also an investigation in conjunction with the Federal Immigation and Customs Enforcement that a possible illegal alien was receiving medical benefits through Seneca County. As a result of this investigation seven illegal immigrants were deported to their countries of origin: Mexico and Brazil.As a result of ongoing Welfare Fraud Investigation $150,377.75 has been recouped for the year 2007. Sheriff Jack Stenberg and Commissioner Charles Schillaci state that the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca County Department of Human Services will continue their cooperative effort to actively investigate and enforce welfare fraud crimes.
