The Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) in cooperation with the Water Quality Committee, are announcing small grants to assist low income homeowners with the repair of failing septic systems. Systems must be located within 200 feet of a priority waterbody and applications must be accompanied by a letter from the local code enforcement officer. Up to $1,000 reimbursement maximum. These grants are made possible through a NYS Grant secured by NYS Assemblyman Robert C. Oaks.
