With phenomenal grape, fruit and honey wines, Montezuma Winery has something for everyone offering a selection of over 30 wines to choose from, ranging from dry to sweet, sure to fit anyone from novice to connoisseur. It’s been a long cold winter and we have something to help lift your spirits with the release of three new vintages. Seyval Blanc, a dry white wine light and refreshing with crisp tones of lemon and pineapple. This wine is a tribute to the Osprey that reign over the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge not only as a superior fisherman but as a sight not to be missed. These large birds of prey can be seen soaring above their enormous nests from our tasting room. Canvasback Red named after the winemaker’s favorite waterfowl, this dry medium bodied hybrid is a blend of Dechaunac, Leon Millot and Maréchal Foch grapes, with rich tones of dark cherry, plums, and soft tannins. A great addition to grilled steak, pot roast or pasta. Golden Delicious winner of 3 gold medals, this semi-sweet apple wine can be served chilled or warmed with mulling spices. Pairs well with pork or hot apple pie.
