Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff Deputies investigated a personal injury auto accident at the intersection of Blackbrook Rd and West Tyre Rd. A pick up truck driven by James G. Howden age 65 of 1761 Dawson Rd turned north onto Blackbrook Rd from West Tyre Rd as another vehicle driven by Brenda S. Brand age 43 of 0199 Dickenson Rd Clyde was coming to the intersection. Howden had been distracted by an object rolling on the floor inside his truck and drove head on into the path of Brand. Magee Firefighters and North Seneca Ambulance responded to the scene. Brand and her passenger Nathan D. Brand age 18 of the same address were treated at the scene then transported to Geneva General Hospital for minor injuries. Howden was uninjuried. Brands vehicle was heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene. No tickets were issued.
