A Union Springs man pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree criminal mischief, a count of third-degree grand larceny and two counts of third-degree burglary.Craig Mason, 22, of 19 Spring St., said that he and an accomplice stole a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu worth about $25,000 from a dealership lot and pushed it into the Cayuga-Seneca River outlet on Oct. 4. Mason also admitted to burglarizing two Springport businesses on Oct. 2. Mason may receive a conditional sentence of no more than 1 to 3 years in prison if he cooperates with authorities in prosecuting his accomplices and makes progress in paying restitution. Mason will be sentenced on April 8.
