Waterloo teens arrested for stealing from cars

Seneca County Sheriffs office reports, on Sunday that they arrested Robert W. Morin, age 17, of 991 Yellow Tavern Road for 2 counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree and 8 counts of petit larceny. On 01/14/08 Investigator’s also arrested Jesse R. Gnau, age 17, of 672 Waterloo Geneva Road and charged him with 2 counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree and 8 counts of petit larceny. It is alledged that on December 2nd and December 18th of 2007 Morin and Gnau stole numerous items from cars in the Town of Waterloo. They were arrested after a joint investigation between the Sheriff’s Department, the NY State Police and the Waterloo Police Department. They were arraigned before the Town of Waterloo Court and were both committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 insurance bond. They are scheduled to reappear in court on 02/12/08 at 1:00pm.
