Naples teen injured in accident

A 14 year old Naples Central School student was injured Wednesday after the school bus she was riding on was involved in a four-vehicle accident. The accident involved the school bus, a tractor trailor and two cars and happened on Route 21 in the Town of Canandaigua. Authorities say the driver of the tractor trailer apparently looked away from the road as the school bus was stopped to drop off Patricia Donhue. That’s when the tractor trailer struck a car, which hit a second vehicle that struck the school bus. Donhue was exiting the bus at the time of the accident and struck her head on the door. She was taken to Thompson Hospital for treatment of head and neck pain. A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to the same hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The investigation into the accident continues.
