The Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board is excited to present the following workshops this month…FUNDING, ASSISTANCE AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIESThursday-January 17, 8:00 am-10:30A discussion of the variety of opportunities available at the Federal to local level for companies to find funding assistance, generalized and specific business assistance as well as ways to do business with the government. Workshop will be presented by Rich Gizzi, Project Manager, High Tech Rochester. RESOURCES TO TRAIN YOUR WORKFORCEThursday-January 24, 8:00 am-10:30An overview of training grants available to businesses in the area. Topics will include On- The -Job Training program as well as New York State’s “Advance-N.Y.” grant. Workshop presented by Michael Woloson of the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board. All workshops will be held at the office of the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board-41 Lewis Street, Geneva and are available at no cost.
