The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Deputies responded to a two-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Main Street in the Village of Lodi. A vehicle being operated by Christopher S. Sipes, 19, of 5423 Havens Road in Odessa, was attempting to make a “K-turn” in the roadway when a southbound vehicle being operated by Timothy J. Coon, 53, of 5393 Old Bath Road in Dundee, struck his vehicle. Sipes was transported to Schuyler Hospital by South Seneca Ambulance for a facial laceration while Coon was uninjured in the collision. The Lodi Fire Department also assisted at the scene. Sipes was ticketed for Failure to Yield Right of Way Entering Roadway. Sipes’ vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
