Seneca County Sherifff’s Department has charged an adult male and a juvenile male in connection with the investigation of a fire that occurred at a Town of Waterloo residence. On 11/26/07, at about 4:42 PM Seneca County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Border City Fire Department responded to a fire at 350-2 Waterloo-Geneva Road in the Town of Waterloo. Border City Fire Department was assisted by Waterloo F.D. and Geneva F.D. A fire in the kitchen of the residence caused about $3000.00 worth of damage. Charged were: Kyle E Beavers, age 18, of 350-2 Waterloo-Geneva Road, Waterloo N.Y. and a 15 year old male. Beavers was charged with Arson in the 4th degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The 15 year old male was charged with Juvenile delinquency for the delinquent act of Arson in the 4th degree. It is alleged that the Juvenile, acting in concert with Beavers, used gasoline to intentionally start a fire in the kitchen area of the residence. There were no injuries in the fire.Beavers was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1000 cash $2000 bail bond. The juvenile was released to a parent on appearance ticket to appear at Seneca County Probation at a later date.
