Seneca County’s Division of Human Services and the United Way of Seneca County need volunteers to assist with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. VITA is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) volunteer program that offers FREE tax help for our community. Volunteers are trained and certified to prepare and electronically file basic tax returns. Prior tax preparation experience, though helpful, is not necessary. For more information, call Finger Lakes Works-Seneca (Workforce Development) at 315.539.1905 or 1.800.688.7188, ext 1905.
