The numbers are in and New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) just welcomed a record number of new students for its fall trimester.NYCC President, Frank J. Nicchi, DC, MS, announced that NYCC’s 2007 fall class of 134 first-time chiropractic students is the College’s largest in 15 years. Numbering 134, the chiropractic students join the College’s other fall enrollees (Master of Science in Acupuncture/Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine – 20 students, Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition – 56 students) for a multi-program entering enrollment of 210.The College’s total enrollment of 822 students includes fellowships with the Master of Science in Diagnostic Imaging and Master of Science in Clinical Anatomy programs. The student body is 47 percent female and 53 percent male.
