Abigail’s Restaurant is donating part of the proceeds from sales of their award winning chicken wings to charity. Fifty cents from every dozen wings sold this month will go to the customer’s choice of the Waterloo Fire Department or the American Cancer Society. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Abigail’s won the title of Best Wings when a film crew led by Lyons native Matt Reynolds stopped by the Finger Lakes Radio Group during the filming of “The Great Chicken Wing Hunt.” Chef Marshall Grady brought in some wings he had made and they were judged number one. The wings, which weren’t even on the menu at the time, have become a best seller at Abigail’s.
