Seneca County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident on County Road 105 in the Town of Tyre. A vehicle being operated by Michael C. Ball, 39, of 35 Pleasant Street Apt. 2 in Clifton Springs, was westbound on County Road 105 and failed to reduce speed for a vehicle that was traveling westbound in front of him. Ball then struck the vehicle and the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. The second vehicle was being operated by Amber C.E. Shevalier, 16, of 519 East Road in Savannah. Ball was uninjured in the collision. Shevalier and a passenger, Laura L. Hines, 18, unknown address, were both airlifted by Mercy Flight Central to Upstate Medical Center with head injuries. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene. Ball was issued a ticket for Speed not reasonable and Prudent.
