Sid Redmond at Taughannock Saturday

The Taughannock Falls State Park Summer Concert Series presents The Sim Redmond Band on Saturday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. Led by singer-guitarist Sim Redmond, the band plays a special brand of African-inflected grooves with hopeful lyrics that are sure to get you dancing. The vocal teamwork of Sim Redmond and Jen Middaugh creates a uniquely beautiful vocal chemistry. Guitarist, Jordan Aceto, with the rhythm section of bassist Dan Merwin and drummer Asa Redmond, keep the beat going with their strong individual talents. Join us for an exciting evening celebrating local talent with the Sim Redmond Band.The concert series, now in its 29th year, is one of the most popular events in the region, with a wide variety of high quality music performed on the beautiful shore of Cayuga Lake. The concerts take place at 7:00 p.m. on seven consecutive Saturday evenings from July 7th through August 18th. Bring your picnics, blankets and lawn chairs and get ready to enjoy an evening of music. The concert parking fee is $5.00 per carload.
