Special Postage Cancellation for Thunder in The Glen

For the second year, the U.S. Postal Service will be featuring a special pictorial stamp cancellation and autograph session in conjunction with Thunder in the Glen, scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 2007, 3-9 p.m. at Seneca Harbor Park.Jorge Goeters of the #27 car will be available for autographs from 5-6 p.m. that evening.The local Quality Work Life Employee Team Midlakers #6 from the Western New York District will host the event and have various postal products available, including teddy bears wearing the postal cancellation.The festival, sponsored by General Revenue Corporation, and coordinated by the Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce / Watkins Glen Promotions, will feature show cars, a simulator, classic cars, racing collectibles, live music and more.For Thunder in the Glen information, contact the Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce at (607) 535-4300 or email [email protected]
