The Ontario County Independence Party has announced their slate of candidates for the local elections this fall. “We have a great mix of Democrats, Republicans, incumbents and new comers,” said Chairman Tom Zimmerman. “In Geneva, the Independence Party has provided an avenue which will allow the voters to decide who will be Mayor. With our backing incumbent Don Cass, who did not receive the support of the Democrat Committee, will be able to be on the ballot this fall giving the voters the final decision.” Ontario County Clerk: Jack CooleyCity of Canandaigua: Mayor – Ellen PolimeniCouncil members at Large – Doug Finch, Jim Terwilliger, Trudy White-Hamilton, Mike Shipley Ward 1: Travis Nixon Ward 2: Val Fenti Ward 3: Rich Russell Ward 4: Marge Anthony Ward 1 & 4 Supervisor: David Baker Ward 2 & 3 Supervisor: Kevin HendersonCity of Geneva: Mayor – Don Cass Councilmember at Large: Ron Alcock 2nd Ward: Paul D’Amico 3rd Ward: Henry Roenke City Judge: Lisa TooleTown of Canandaigua: M.Reid HankinTown of Farmington: Tim Mickelsen and Peter Ingalsbe
